ABOUT SAHARA FOR LIFE TRUST

SAHARA for Life Trust is a leading charitable organization in Pakistan, providing free healthcare through the “Sughra Shafi Medical Complex Narowal,” a 600-bed ISO-certified hospital. Affiliated internationally, it has treated 06 million patients, upholding high-quality standards. We are dedicated to proactive engagement in crisis response, offering assistance to both the nation and the global community. Our commitment lies in aiding the reconstruction of lives and livelihoods and enhancing resilience to future disasters through strategic interventions.

The first mega project of “SAHARA for Life Trust” is “Sughra Shafi Medical Complex Narowal”, a 600 beds ISO certified General Teaching Hospital. SSMC is providing state of art healthcare facilities to more than 05 million population in remote areas.

All medical and surgical services including emergencies are offered 24/7 and 06 million patients have been treated so far on a free-of-cost basis by considering all “Quality of Health Care standards”.

“SAHARA Medical College Narowal” is another mega project to cater to the healthcare needs of remote underprivileged areas by educating healthcare professionals to the highest international standards. SAHARA Medical College entertains a class of 100 medical students from 2015-16.A new mega project is SAHARA Cancer Hospital Narowal has been functional from 2020-21 for the provision of chemotherapy & other comprehensive treatment.The SAHARA College Narowal project of SLT was established in 2018. The bachelor programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Medical Lab Technology (MLT), Radiography & Imaging Technology (RIT), DPT, Pharm-D, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, BBA (HONS), Mathematics, English, Statistics, and Psychology are being taught under semester system.The other projects are 24 hours ambulance services at Muridke Road and SAHARA Diagnostic Research Center along with collection centers. While SLT contributed immensely to disaster management and implemented various projects through national & international donors.

The founder and Chairman of the trust, Abrar Ul Haq, is a symbol of human service and an internationally acclaimed social worker.
