INTRODUCTION Sahara for Life Trust is a registered tax exempted charitable organization in consultative status with U.N under the Charter of (DESA), certified as an NGO by Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP) in Pakistan as well as accredited by the charity commissions of U.K and U.S.A. Sahara for Life Trust mission is to served the unserved and underserved in remote areas in Pakistan through projects in healthcare and education sectors. Sahara’s first Project Sughra Shafi Medical Complex, Narowal; a PMDC certified 250 Bed Teaching Hospital is a state of the art facility providing health care facilities in a catchment area of 4 million population. 91% of the patients are treated free of cost.
